Set the file size as desired. For this example, I will set the file size is 800 × 600 pixels. Set the resolution (resolution) 72ppi.

STEP 2

Add the background using the Rectangle Tools tool # d3d7d8 and use the Type Tools tool to type the number 16, which is the number of the football picture I found.

At this stage, the letters are very important. Fonts that look thick and strong.

STEP 3

Make Diecut footage by using the Pen Tools tool or another skillful tool. In the Diecut way, for those who do not have the skills, it is recommended to look at the way Die cut.

After we create the selection line in Photoshop, copy the image of our football player, which we will divide the layer of footballers into two parts.

STEP 4

Select the two layers we made by pressing on the first layer and holding down the Shift key before selecting the remaining layers.

STEP 5

Drag all the selected layers to the workspace that we created at first.

When dragging the two footballers onto your workspace, press Command + T or CTRL + T to zoom in on the football player.

After resizing, hit enter to resize the image as we want.

And then it comes to the tool at the heart of this article with the Clipping Mask tool. The main point we have to understand is that the clipping mask tool is applied to the layer at the bottom of the layer we want to clipping mask. Layer A and B if layer B is above layer A, this tool will render Layer B (Mask) on layer A

So in this topic, we will make a clipping mask. The football picture (not Diecut) is displayed on the number 16, then take the footballer's picture layer to put it on top of the 16th layer.

After the clipping mask is complete, the football image (not Diecut) will be displayed on the 16th only. After this, we can decorate and add another effect to add interest or cut unwanted parts.
